Biography
Orombi Robin born on 8th October, 1995 in Academy cell located in Arua better known by his stage name Robin Man, is a Ugandan recording artist, and singer-songwriter based in West Nile basically in Arua but hailing from Nebbi. He joined the Music industry in 2013 after meeting up with Young Lemon and Dj Popa and later was signed under Ragga Pythons Monster Family Musical Label based in Arua.
Married to a beautiful lady With two kids and currently self employed as an electrician/engineer in areas of installation of boosters, solar panels and am he is also a driver through experience.
Educational Background:
Robin man went to Awindiri primary for Primary Education from 2003 in Primary one and later shifted to Arua primary school for Primary two study and Finally joined Arua Hill Primary school in 2005 were he was able to attain his Primary Leaving certificate by 2009 thus passing in good grades that allowed him enroll for Secondary School at Alliance Global College –Arua in 2010 for O Level Study till 2013 were he qualified for Uganda Certificate of Education after completing his Senior Four Exams.
Musical Career:
In 2013, Robin Man released his first truck "Temporary love" a collabo song which featured Young Lemon and DJ Popa whom he meet in the same year. This was a hip hop tune which sang about love and its associate mishaps and was well received as of 2013.
After the success of "Temporary love" Robin once again teamed up with Young Lemon to do it more for the fans and this time it was “Do It For Me” which brought in the two to work on this Truck.
Before 2013 would come to a standstill there came a lot of pressure hence forcing the two– Young lemon and Robin Man to once again hit the studios to cook out some new tune and this time the two once again tried a trio moment but this time bringing in late Jack P who by then was hitting as well taking off DJ Popa and this trio tune gave birth to “Why You Let Me Down” still a love tune.
And this truck was produced, mixed and mastered by Late Jack P who by then was working in Mb Records and had some Luganda Lyrics that tried to bring in versatility based on the aim of hitting hard on the listener ship.
With three song to his name – though collabo’s Robin Man thought of trying out life with Raga Python who by then had started the Monster Pharmily Musical Label based in Arua.
After his acceptance into the Label together with Young Lemon, Ragga Python The CEO later tried his capability with Young Lemon officially and this brought in the song “Bragging like” which dropped in 2014 Produced at F Records and this time it was a dance hall tune with a simple video to the song showing the two performing on stage and this video was a boast to the song;
After dropping the first video the two immediately still at Monster dropped Wolokoso tune and later vanished out of Monster were he joined Tuff Music Label led by Rebellious Young lemon who broke off from Monster straight to forming this Musical Label as of 2016.
With only one truck to his name as of 2016 and the following year by 2017 Robin Man Went Silent till December 2018 and 2019 would be a blessing in disguise to him as he officially confirms his exit from Tuff Music and started His own Musical label Fire Burn Musical Label.
And to launch this label, Robin Man went to studio to again try something new and came up with new trucks that defined his origin as of Alur and he brought in Tugulukutu – a hit song that went viral and had visuals to its name. This truck had lyrics in Alur, Lugbara and English and the Mystery word Tugulukutu still unknown to what it actually means.
Robin Man Currently has over six trucks to his name with the collabos as well and promised to release more as 2019 progresses and here are some of his Videos and the one below is Electronically man that seems to define him in terms of hustle as an Engineer thus his profession.
To his name he also has one of his video to the song Part of my life in which he sought Director Dezon as the Director to the video project and this video had received fairly enough air play on BTN TV the then only TV station in Arua which has now gone off due to digital revolution.
Future Plans:
For a brighter future in the music industry, Robin man plans to bring up hidden talents in west Nile region through grooming up talented youths musically with the help of his new Musical Label and he also plans to Explode in Africa as well as the whole world will know about us.
And lastly promised to work on a massive songs which will have to be both inspirational and Emotional.
