Jousy Joshua Kooko is an award winning comedian based in the Northern Ugandan city of Arua. Professionally a Comedian, Radio Presenter (New Vision Co. Ltd) and an online TV Host named “Zap Show”, he recently rebranded to “Kooko The Comedian”, therefore singing comical songs is part of his act. He holds an award for the “Best Comedian Northern Uganda” awarded during the “Northern Ugandan Entertainment Awards 2017/18” in Gulu Town. In 2018, he participated in the nation’s currently ranked as ‘the biggest comedy competition ever’, “NBS The Comic”, competing until the top eight finalists out of over one thousand participants.
