East African legend Joseph Mayanja a.k.a Jose Chameleone has hinted his fans about a possible music break after twenty years in the game.

Jose made the hint on a post on his Facebook page this morning where he said there is a need to give the young generation a chance to take over what he has been doing for the past years.

With a legacy he has built for over two decades, Chameleone is unarguably one of the music greats – not only in East Africa but on the African continent as a whole.

His story through the music journey is inspirational. With almost no funds but dedication and self belief, he managed to get on that Mawingo bus to Kenya where his journey to stardom began in 1999.

Chameleone built a huge fan base across East Africa and Africa at large with some loving him for his unique voice others for his character and moreso the message he passes in his songs.

The Leone Island Music Empire CEO is now choosing to step aside and let the younger generation take the lead. He revealed this prior to his performance at the forthcoming UNAA convention which he believes will be his very last.

Here is what he posted;
