Uganda Poilce is investigating a case of robbery where a former SFC officer led a team of robbers to steal money from Kayunga Stanbic Bank that was on transit to Kampala from Kayunga.
Bright Turyatunga and team are said to have trailed a Cash-In-Transit van belonging to G4S Security Group from Kayunga until they were finally put out of action last night 5th March, 2019 at around 7:45pm, by Internal Security Organisation(ISO) around Kyambogo,Megha Industries.
The thugs were unlucky to finish their mission when the ISO team stopped them from removing the money from the Bullion van to their parked small car.They were shot dead on spot.
Police says, Bright Turyatunga was a former SFC and convict, SFC is a security Organisation formed to provide security to the President Uganda and his family.
Investigations are still on to connect the dots.
