Reports has been circulating in the media fraternity about the killing of a Dj at a club in Parombo- Nebbi District.
The truth is that, the guy who was killed was not actually a Dj as earlier reported.
Jerry Okirwoth was a gate collector at the Disco Hall and was killed by a mob on Wednesday due to unpaid debt of 2,000/=. This may sound strange but, it is true.
The young man was not a Dj.
The event all happened when Jerry who was being demanded by the group that killed him, requested the group to hold on abit as he looks for ways to go home and collect their money(2K) to pay them back.
Which the group didn't allow him to give him the time he demanded them to, they suddenly pulled him away from the gate where he was working and begun to beat him up till he met his death.
This action later provoked the community to burn down the Hall where this happened when they heard of Jerry's death.
The local Police of the area is currently holding the killers plus the music system of the Hall owner as the venue can't be seen No more.....
This the creditable info we got on ground, .... Jerry was Not a Dj but a Gate Collector of the Hall he met his death from.
