The Alur Kingdom's prominent artist, Bushy D King, has raised concerns over potential setbacks for the renowned Alur Cultural Festival.

The event, celebrated as the biggest cultural showcase in the Alur community, faces risks due to ongoing disputes involving key figures connected to the festival.

In a Live Facebook broadcasts today 21 Jan 2025, Bushy, known for his "Alur Ku Lembe" hit, criticized the behavior of BP Entertainment, a label run by Pruddy Bæ, the Mc of the event and Barto Oyi, who also chairs the Alur Cultural Festival organizing committee.

Bushy expressed disappointment with the public altercations involving the Barto and Pruddy, warning that such conflicts could tarnish the festival’s reputation and undermine its objectives.

“We have the biggest cultural event, and you are the chairperson and face of the festival. Engaging in fights with different people on social media is detrimental to the event,” Bushy remarked during his live session.

The tensions appear to stem from ongoing disputes between BP Entertainment staff and K Stats Entertainment Boss, in a heated exchanges involving W'ojok Dekoda and Tricia Bæ, who have publicly criticized BP Entertainment’s management relating the matter to the Alur Cultural Festival.

On January 17, 2025, W'ojok Dekoda aired grievances during a Facebook Live broadcast, while Tricia Bæ took to social media to launch further allegations against the label's icons.

In response, the Alur Cultural Festival’s management issued a disclaimer distancing itself from the controversies.

"the Management hereby disassociate itself from the recent public outbursts between BP Entertainment and K Stats Entertainment."

The statement emphasized the festival’s commitment to upholding and respecting Alur cultural norms, affirming that it does not endorse the public outbursts.

Despite the escalating disputes, Barto Oyi and Pruddy Bæ have remained silent on the matter.

Meanwhile, Bushy reiterated his independence, declaring, “I am in charge. Nobody controls me,” under his music umbrella, West Nile ScareDem.

The ongoing social media drama has sparked concern among cultural enthusiasts, who fear it could disrupt the unity and success of the Alur Cultural Festival, a vital platform for celebrating the Alur community’s heritage.
