Prominent Alur musician, Lucky Dee has advised fellow artist Elton Loverboy to reconsider the venue for his upcoming Superior Music Festival 2025 Live Band Edition.
Lucky suggested that Rajja Deluxe would be a more suitable location than iBIZ Lounge, which he believes may not accommodate the expected audience.
“January 26, 2025, Elton, iBIZ Lounge is too small, trust me. Next time, go to Rajja,” the Tulia singer posted on his social media platforms, encouraging the Alur community to support the event.
"Let’s support Elton as he does what we tried teaching them for the first time but they were lazy,” Goddy remarked.
Responding to the comment, Elton Loverboy acknowledged the challenges he faced earlier in his career, particularly during rehearsals for live performances.
“I remember how we got kicked out of rehearsal rooms because we couldn’t sound the way we should. I wasn’t ready back then, both vocally and physically,” Elton shared. “Let’s see how much I’ve learned on January 26, 2025,” he added.
In Nebbi Town, Rajja Deluxe has been the preferred venue for major concerts, including the 10th anniversary of Bushy Da King, the 15th anniversary of Brayo Producer, and the 20th anniversary of Rasta Longe. Elton Loverboy himself has previously hosted several editions of the Superior Music Festival at Rajja Deluxe.
However, Mc Compotune, one of the MCs booked for the event, defended the choice of iBIZ Lounge, noting its growing popularity among younger partygoers who form the core of Elton’s fan base.
“Last year, promoter Addicted organized events at iBIZ Lounge, and they sold out. That’s why Elton picked interest in hosting his event there,” Mc Compotune explained.
