Lucky Dee, the Trouble Base Commando, has confirmed that he will perform alongside Nigerian music icon Rude Boy tomorrow, December 21, 2024, in Gulu City.
In a heartfelt message posted on his WhatsApp status, Lucky Dee expressed his resilience amid personal tragedy.
“No matter the situation, I am a soldier. Rest in peace, Papa. I am a hustler representing you,” he wrote.
The event’s performance lineup indicates Lucky Dee will take the stage from 11:50 p.m. to midnight, followed by Pato Lover Boy, John Frog, and Rude Boy, who will close the show.
Lucky Dee lost his father, popularly known as Funga Ro, on Friday, December 19, 2024. And the burial is scheduled for the same day as the performance, raising concerns among fans about whether the "Alworu Ke Nga" hitmaker will proceed with the show.
Despite the untimely, Lucky Dee’s post suggests he remains committed to his fans and his craft, embodying the spirit of perseverance.
Today 20, December 2024, Lucky was also cited in Elton's Loverboy's Studio, Star Beats recording a tribute song for the late Father.
