Artists recording their music at Core Records in Nebbi Municipality are worried about the safety of their projects after the studio's computer operating system encountered technical issues.

An artist, speaking on condition of anonymity, revealed that "the studio has been non-operational for about a month. As a result, many artists are opting to redo their projects at other recording studios within the municipality."

Justine Khalif, a close associate at Core Records (assistant manager), acknowledged that the studio management has been receiving numerous inquiries from clients seeking clarity about their work.

"Yes, people are asking about their projects, including those handling Dr. Jose Chameleon's work," Khalif said.

He clarified that while the computer itself is in good condition, the issue lies with its operating system, which has been overwhelmed by the volume of large projects. "We plan to resolve this soon," he assured.

Khalif further explained that the management intends to address the issue as part of a broader studio renovation plan.

"We aim to acquire new studio equipment, including monitors, microphones, microphone stands, and a high-speed, powerful computer. Once this is done, we will transfer all client projects to the new system," he added.

Core Records continues to be one of the leading recording studios in Nebbi Municipality, renowned for its top-tier production under the expertise of producer Ramz Kugire.

Speculation is growing that the studio's management may be planning to expand its team by bringing in an additional producer to collaborate with Ramz, further solidifying its reputation for quality music production.
