Lucky Dee, known as Trouble Base Commando, has refuted allegations of soliciting part of the UGX 15 million donation made by the Uganda National Music Federation.

He addressed the claims during a meeting held on Sunday , 25 August 2024 at GAF Apartments, organized by the Greater Nebbi Musicians Association (GRAMA).

The allegations were highlighted by his colleague, Justin Khalif, who, through the Chairperson of the meeting, Mercy Leko, demanded that Lucky Dee respond to the circulating rumors.

"Now, Madam Chairperson, I notice my brother Lucky is present. I would like him to address the allegations concerning the UGX 15 million that he supposedly received on behalf of Alur musicians," Khalif stated, just as the GRAMA Vice Chairperson, Jay Jags, attempted to take the microphone from him.

Mercy Leko, the interim Chairperson, louded the question to Lucky Dee, asking him to clarify the matter as she gave the Mic to the 'Wan Wa Luo' Hit maker.

"Lucky Dee, please respond to the concerns raised about the UGX 15 million meant for the West Nile artists," said Mercy Leko, a gospel artist turned lawyer.

Lucky Dee denied any allegations.

"I did not receive any money on behalf of my colleagues...," he stated, also apologizing for his late arrival, explaining that he was on his way to Angal for a show and the Promoter was asking him to go the drive.

Shortly after his statement, Lucky Dee left the meeting before it concluded.

Lucky Dee has been singled out by a section of artists representatives from Arua City, who claim to represent the West Nile artists in the Uganda National Music Federation.

The artists were represented by Hanz and Hassan De Big Brother, a TV presenter on the "Chuku Chuku" program on West Nile TV.

According to the duo, they handed over a portion of the funds to Lucky Dee, who allegedly identified himself as the leader of Alur musicians.

This claim has sparked mixed reactions among entertainers, who have been calling for clarity and transparency from the Trouble Base Commando.
