Eddy Kenzo, the President and founder of Uganda National Musicians Federation has pledged his full support to the Alur music industry.

Kenzo whose real name is Edrisah Kenzo, made this commitment during his performance on Saturday, August 3, 2023, at the Thanksgiving ceremony of his wife, Phiona Nyamutoro, also State Minister for Energy and Mineral Resources, held at Nebbi Town SS Playground.

"Trust me, I will do whatever I can to make Nebbi shine all over the world," he stated while waving to the crowd alongside the minister.

"I will make sure I work with Phiona to promote the Youths and empower the Youths in sports and Music and make sure that we achieve whatever we want to achieve," Kenzo Adds.

The Big Talent boss described Nyamutoro as a blessing not only for the Alur community but for Uganda and Africa at large, thanking the people of Nebbi for welcoming him with both hands.

The "Balipira Boda,"  singer also promised to hold annual concerts across the region to boost entertainment vibrancy.

"Pakwach, Nebbi, and Zombo District will be more vibrant than ever before," he remarked before asking the audience if they believed in love, requesting the DJ to play "One Love" by Bob Marley.

There has been an outcry among entertainers in the West Nile region regarding the exclusion of their artistic works from the programs of national media houses in Uganda, which they say has stifled the region's entertainment scene.

Eddy Kenzo performed alongside artists such as Grenade Official, Clever J, Coco Finger, Lady Mariam, Khalifa Aganaga, and local talents including Bushy D King, Astro Lifa, M.Vani, Swali Shisha, and Maya Keys among others.
