Alur Cultural Festival is an event that is held every year in Kampala and Greater Nebbi to celebrate the Alur culture; it is organized by Alur Cultural Association Limited.

It is one event that one wouldn't want to miss if at all financial or other commitments could allow.  

Another Edition will be happening this Sunday 12^th November 2023 in Kampala at Uganda Museum; these are some of the Reasons you could regret missing the event.

1. His Royal Majesty Phillip Olarker Rauni III

His Royal Majesty Phillip Olarker Rauni III will be the chief Guest at the event; this means missing to attend the event will mean missing to meet the Custodian of Alur Culture and knowledge on the history of some of the Alur cultures.

His Royal Majesty shall address and teach the Alur in diaspora some of the core values in Alur as a Culture during the event.  

2. Cultural Foods and Drinks

There will be different local dishes and drinks available at the event to enjoy.

3. Local Dance and modern entertainment

The event will be graced by a cultural group known as Agwara Troup from Ayaka Zeu in addition to modern performances from the Alur artists. This is the day you can enjoy home music and entertainment set up. The environment will be breathing home experience just like the local foods and drinks. You will definitely regret miss enjoying this package in case you fail to attend the event.

4. Beautiful and Handsome Ladies and Gents

As you all know, Alur is among the tribes in Uganda and Africa with the most beautiful ladies. It is NO lie that, the land is blessed with beautiful ladies with high self-respect.  The men are also regarded the most gentle and romantic in Uganda.
