The cases of music studios in Uganda accusing musicians of audio theft from music studios and finding it's way on the street is common within Ugandan studios; Kaga Boy has joined the wagon of musicians accused for this act.
According to the report received by this website, Kaga is being accused by Gun Shot Records, a recording studio in Kampala for releasing his new song titled 'Mbeta' without clearing the balance the studio is demanding for the song.
The report further reveals, the studio did not give Kaga even the demo of this song but was shocked to see the artist market and release it online without clearing their studio balance.
"He must have stolen the demo of the song from our studio computer, we don't know how but we were left in shock to see Kaga market and upload the demo of the song online after promising to clear our balance by this Sunday(the was the very day Kaga released this new song and uploaded it online) ", - the source quoated one of the studio management crying foul after seeing the released online.
The management of Gun Shot Records are now planning to sue Kaga for releasing their work and failing to honor his part of the agreement. As well as releasing imcomplete work that could destroy their brand image
