After 3 days in the coolers, West Nile dancehall raggamafin, Raga Python found his freedom yesterday.
The artist was arrested by his ex-lover Precious Kelvin on 9th March 2022 in Arua on grounds of theft of academic documents and cyber harassment.
He had to spend days behind bars before a number of West Nile artistes and entertainers came together to work out his release.
Pingoman and King Weeda had sleepless nights till yesterday when they finally succeeded in releasing Raga.
The documents were picked from Marach Police station where Python had left them for safety reasons and were handed over to the complainant.
Python and Kevin were inseparable lovers before the artist was arrested in 2014 and was released in 2021. He was arrested for fighting a man who was benching his lover Kelvin. On release, he found Kelvin married to another man, since then, their relationship has been no more.
