West Nile is about to say bye-bye to Power problems as a deal was signed today to see West Nile connected to the National Power Grid.
This was unveiled at the official contract signing of the transmission line at Imperial Royal in Kampala.
West Nile has for years been facing issues of an of unreliable power supply.
Kiri Kiri Wenreco and No Power No Vote campaigns were launched to address this power supply problem.
The team that signed that agreement said, this power deal will see 8 districts including Kole, Oyam, Omoro, Gulu, Nwoya, Pakwach, Madi-Okolo, Nebbi and Arua, out of power problem, whereas other districts like Zombo, Terego, Maracha, Koboko, Yumbe, Moyo, Adjumani will be supplied from the sub-stations once completed.
