Speaker of the Uganda Parliament Hon Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga last evening passed a request to the Foreign Ministry to look into plans of returning BET Award winner, Eddy Kenzo to Uganda.
Eddy Kenzo has been stuck in Cote I'voire eversince the goverment impossed lock down on local and international flights.
And he has been crying for the government to allow him return,saying the lock down caugh him off guard in a foreign country but he wasn't given much attention since the country was battling the new pandemic.
Hon Rebecca has now come to his rescue.
The Speakers says, she received a phone from the artiste and she thinks the government has to put efforts to see that he returns home.
"I call upon the Ministry of Foreign Affairs @mofaug, working through our Mission in #Abuja to offer him consular services so that he can be assisted to return home; but to also meet his bills."- She added.
The Speaker also promised to share this same information with the President H.E Yoweri Museveni to see a way forward of helping the Semyekozo.
