Female singer Liama has joined a sector of the discontented entertainers within Northern Uganda who have been mocking the organizers of the just concluded award ceremony, Northern Uganda Music Award(NUMA) 2019.
The award that was held on 1st Jan 2020 at Pece Stadium left many unhappy and in wonderland.
Lucky were those who back off from the award before the final on 1st Jan.
Liama being among the top guns in the Northern Uganda music industry now thinks the award did not represent the true voices of the music fans of Northern Uganda, Gulu and the name should be changed to Pine Avenue 5 Award.
Through her Facebook page, Liama posted;
Leaving PINE AVENUE 5 Awards Aside...
2020 Business Year! Fresh Song 👌👌 & Video Dropping Sooon ft Northern UGz Freshest Kid.''
This clearly showed that Northern Uganda's female singer was not pleased with the award.
She lost the Female Artiste of the Year category to an upcoming female artiste called Quincy of Pine Avenue 5
Pine Avenue 5 won 5 categories; >Best female artist Quincy, >New artist of the year Quincy,>Lango Regional artist Beepee UG, and >Best RnB Beepee in the award, something that raised more volume in the dark corridors.
