Police have finally issued their stand on the forthcoming concert for the Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine that has been slated for tomorrow 9th October 2019 on Independence Day at One Love Beach in Busaabala, Wakiso District.

From the Headquarters, the Uganda Police says, this concert will not place as planned.

Addressing journalists, Bobi Wine insists that his music concert will still take place as planned whether the police wants it or not since his team has followed all the steps required by the Police for one to put up a concert.

However, Police still insist that Bobi has always turned his music concert into a political rally, something that is against the law.

Bobi Wine now says, he will personally walk to the police headquarters on Wednesday if he does not receive any reply to his letter by the end of the day. His remarks come after Mr Fred Enanga, the police spokesperson, told journalists earlier on Monday that police is yet to receive official communication from the territorial commanders where the concert will be held.

"Bobi Wine will not be allowed to stage any music concert, even the President himself made it clear that Bobi Wine should choose between Music and Politics, he can't do both"- Fred Enanga told the journalists.
